There are 3 different causes for this error:
1) The account you are trying to print checks on has never been submitted nor activated on gValidate.com.
2) The bank code line entered on gValidate is different from the bank code line entered in VersaCheck.
3) There is a firewall blocking the communication between VersaCheck and gValidate.
Fix for Problem # 1:
1. Go to www.gValidate.com - log in with your email address and password.
2. If there are no accounts listed, click on the Add Bank Account button and submit the account.
3. If the account is listed but not activated, you will need to enter the activation code you received via text message. Click the red VALIDATE link under status for your bank account. There will be a space here to enter that activation code.
Fix for Problem # 2:
1. Check the bank code line in VersaCheck on step 2 of 6, in Edit Checkbook, for accuracy. Check the routing number and account number entered on gValidate by clicking on DETAILS inline with the account name.
2. If the bank code line in VersaCheck is wrong, simply click in the bank code line field and correct the error.
3. If the routing number/account number is wrong on gValidate, you will need to click on the Add Bank Account button and submit the account information again with the correct routing/account number.
Fix for Problem # 3:
1. If the bank code line in VersaCheck and on gValidate are EXACTLY the same and the account shows as active, you may have a firewall blocking communication with the gValidate server.
2. If you are using the Windows Firewall, click on the link below for instructions on making an exception. If you are using another manufacturers firewall, you will need to visit their website for instructions on how to make an exception.

The account information entered on gValidate cannot be altered once it has been submitted. This is why you must enter the account new and start the process again.
