Scan Sample Check
Step 4 of 4

The VersaCheck-EZ-Scan™ wizard allows you to scan a sample of your preprinted check for quick set up of bank code line and check number information when setting up checkbook information for accounts. From Step 2 of the Edit Checkbook wizard click on the Scan Sample Check button.

Step 4 of the Scan Sample Check wizard allows you to compare the image copy of the bank code line with what VersaCheck recognized from the sample scan. Please carefully review these two lines to make sure that all digits and symbols are correct.

If you are having difficulty with the scan not registering properly (for example one or both display lines are blank in this step) please review the scanning tips in Step 2 of the wizard. Also check to make sure that the scanning software you are using with your scanner does not crop the check image to closely and cut off part or all of the bank code line.

If the Recognized bank code line requires that one or more digits be changed you can use the numbers on your keyboard and the 3 symbols buttons to make corrections as needed.

Click Finish or Back to return to Step 3.
