Scan Sample Check
Step 1 of 4

The VersaCheck-EZ-Scan™ wizard allows you to scan a sample of your preprinted check for quick set up of bank code line and check number information when setting up checkbook information for accounts. From Step 2 of the Edit Checkbook wizard click on the Scan Sample Check button.

Step 1 of the Scan Sample Check wizard allows you to select the scanning device to use or to load a prescanned sample check image.

To scan a sample check image click the option for I want to scan the sample check from the following scanner and then use the drop down menu to select your scanner or multifunction device. The three checkboxes allow you to control how much of the rest of the scanning process you see.

  1. Do not show hint: checking this will skip Step 2 that displays the scanning tips.
  2. Show scanner preview: checking this box will open your scanner software to make the scan image and allow you to view/alter the image before it is imported back in to VersaCheck.
  3. Show the scanned check image: checking this box will show Step 3 that displays the sample of the scanned check image as it has been imported into VersaCheck.

To use a prescanned image click the option for I have already scanned the sample check and saved as image option and click the Browse button to search your files for the image.
