Error Message/ Question:
Using a check number larger than 10 digits.
Symptom:
Your check number is larger that 10 digits that is allowed in VersaCheck.
Cause:
The Check Number field will only accept 10 digits. Any number larger will have to use a 3 or 4 number prefix at the beginning of the check number.
Resolution:
1. Open VersaCheck. Click on My Accounts.

2. Click once on the account that you need to edit to highligh it. Right click on the account name and select Edit Checkbook.

3. Once the Edit Checkbook screen appears click on the Advanced button in the bottom left corner.

4. On the Advanced Setup click on the General Tab. Type in the digits that you need to add to the check number. Click on the OK button.

5. Click on the Next button until you reach step 6 of 6. Click on the Finish button to save all changes.

6. The check number will print on the check similar to the graphic below.
