Error Message/ Question:
How to share a license file. Sharing the validation code on multiple computers.
Symptom:

There are multiple computers on the system. The users needs to share the license file/validation code.
Cause:

By default VersaCheck is setup for each computer to have it's own validation code. If you have a network and administrative permissions you can use the directions below to share the license file.
Resolution:

Computer A has the license file you want to share.
Computer B needs to use the shared license file.
The file is called G7 Product License Accounts.laf

1. Open the License Account Manager on Computer A
TOOLS
MANAGE PRODUCT LICENSE
PRODUCT LICENCE MANAGER

NOTE: the location of the license file listed in the status bar at the bottom of the License Account Manger.
DEFAULT = C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\G7PS\G7 Product License Accounts.laf

2. Close Versacheck. Copy the G7 Product License Accounts.laf file to a location on your network which is always available to both(all) computers.

Example: //Server/Public/Versacheck/G7 Product License Accounts.laf

3. Open VersaCheck.
4. Open the License Account Manager on Computer A.Press the "Select License Account File" button and browse to the file located on the network.
5. Repeat on Computer B

The file must be shared and read/writable.
